Devlog 6 - Beta released!

Beta 1 released!

The first beta build of Dungeon Keys was released! This means I finished all the major features I wanted to add, for now at least. Significant changes might still happen before full release, but the general gameplay should stay the same.

What's new in this update? A lot of balancing work has been done, gems are no longer found randomly in the Dungeon, instead, only one can be found every time you enter the Dungeon. Where? Your compass will always point in its direction, so it should be easy to find... maybe. Player upgrades can now also be found in golden chests, which no longer contain common items such as coins and potions.

List of main features in this beta

• Eternal Compass: its needle will always point in the direction of a gem
• Gems: finding all the gems is your goal now! You can find one every time you enter the Dungeon
• New map: some improvements have been done since alpha
• Player upgrades: finding all the gems won't be easy, these will come in handy

Future plans

I will keep working on the game and I'll release a new beta every time I'll make a significant change. Remember to come back when the full version comes out!
